New Season
Inspired by nature, our new season started in the garden and is made up of a mixture of botanical hand drawn motifs and a modern take on stitch work. As always true to Niao, this collection is made from the softest, natural wool between Ireland and the UK.
Future Heirlooms x Niao
Niao began with an heirloom Aran jumper belonging to our founder’s grandfather. A piece that held comfort and the kind of craftsmanship that lasts. Inspired by our heritage and nature, we craft our knits in small sustainable batches with trusted makers, and the belief that the best things are worth taking time over.
Our first collection began with good friends at an Alpaca farm in Somerset, England, where we still produce most of our knitwear. We are proud to work with a mix of regenerative farmers and small female owned studios across Ireland and the UK to design and manufacture.
All of our knits are made from natural fibres, specially sourced for softness, breathability, quality and traceability. We craft with British alpaca, the finest Scottish and Italian wools, and Donegal cashmere silk yarns.
